Welcome to Bookground, a mobile app for the passionate book lover.

Bookground arose from the founders' frustration, who as passionate bookworms always wanted to know more about the writers, the content, and everything related to books after reading a book.
​
Unfortunately, their search for information only brought more frustration each time. This gave them the idea to create a central place where readers can enjoy their book even more, even after they have finished reading it.

With Bookground, there is now a new way to experience books. Reading is no longer a one-way street.
Readers can now be part of the experience, get a glimpse into the creation process of their favorite book, and connect with the writers.
Our ambitious ideas have led to winning the Pioneer Prize from Renew the Book in 2022, an award for the most creative and original initiative to shape the future of publishing.
